Founder of Dance Xcetera

Wild Catnap was co-owner of the It Girlz and Fellaz dance team for four years before taking a risk and venturing out on her own to form her own team.  She wanted a team where it’s members could create beautiful dances from music that truly inspired them and then work together to create a show.  She also wanted a place of sanctuary, where like minded people could come together for an hour or two and leave whatever drama they have to deal with at the door.  Wild believed that the most important element of any dance team is the harmony that comes from it, if everyone is in accord, the team prospers.  We rely on our emotions, they inspire us to create beautiful pieces of work, and the strictest rule Wild ever made was "No Drama,"  as it disrupts our creative process.

Wilds account was retired in May 2016, and the core values that became the foundation of this team came from her vision.  We would not be who we are today if not for Wild, and each day that we succeed together as a team is one more day that we honor the vision she had so many years ago.
