Spoonful of Sugar Benefit

What is the Spoonful of Sugar you ask? SOS was founded by Ever Courtois & Angelique Wickentower to help raise awareness for the organization "Médecins Sans Frontières - Doctors Without Borders." In 1968 a group of young doctors decided to use their combined talents to help people who suffered as a result of war and major disasters. Over the years they have reached out to almost every continent in the world to donate their time and efforts to those who desperately need medical attention at no charge to them. Most of us are lucky, we live in countries where medical facilities are around every corner and getting the help we need for the most part is very easy to obtain. It is unfortunate that medical help isn't available in a lot of countries and this is where these angels come in.

In the spring of 2017, Dance Xcetera joined others in support of this great cause and between DX, the performers, and shops they raised thousands of dollars to help MSF. We are very honored to be asked to perform again to help this wonderful cause and invite you to come out and show your support! In lieu of tips we ask our supporters and friends to please donate to one of the many kiosks around the Festival, SOS has already received over a 1.5 million linden in donations! We are performing one show only so take the afternoon off and come watch a great performance by some gifted directors and help support this worthy cause! Hosted by Aryanna Draken. Program information is below, we hope to see you there!
