Nightfall Relay For Life
The word "cancer" was an immediate death sentence some twenty or more years ago. During the early 1900's some folks believed cancer was contagious - they would send their children away to live with family members if they had to care for an ailing relative. We have come so far from that time, and it's all thanks to the men and women who work tirelessly to seek a cure. We've been lucky, not only have some cancers been curable but now we can even pre-screen to find out our risk factors! Imagine what we can accomplish in another fifity years!
None of this, not any of it would be possible if it wasn't for those doctors and scientists working tirelessly to find cures for these deadly diseases. The more funding we can give to the cause the close we come to more cures in the future!
We at DX are no strangers to cancer, it has touched all of our homes in one way or another. That's why having a benefit performance means so much to us, we want to do our part to push us closer to the cure!
We have a great upbeat show planned so we hope you can make it out! There are lots of activities going on at the event as well, so come take in a show and check out the sim!
