Dance Xcetera is thrilled to announce something truly special — our very first themed mega production, The Seven Deadly Sins & Seven Heavenly Virtues. This ambitious performance, the brainchild of Aryanna Draken, has been years in the making, and we are incredibly excited to finally bring this vision to life for our audience.
Unlike anything we have presented before, this mega show features fourteen back-to-back dances with no waiting music in between. Once the show begins, the experience flows seamlessly — you’ll hear the introduction, and then the dance immediately follows. The result is a fast-paced, immersive performance designed to keep you captivated from beginning to end.
Bringing this production to life has been a long and challenging journey. Over the years, directors have come and gone, and more than once the creative process required starting over from scratch. Yet through dedication, creativity, and perseverance, the vision has continued to evolve — and now the premiere is finally within reach.
As the title suggests, the show explores the Seven Deadly Sins and the Seven Heavenly Virtues. Each piece is uniquely interpreted by the director who created it, presenting their personal perspective on the meaning behind each sin or virtue. This proved to be one of the most thought-provoking concepts our directors have tackled, as many sins and virtues can overlap or reflect similar human experiences. Through carefully crafted introductions and powerful choreography, each dance sets the stage for the director’s interpretation, allowing the audience to experience these timeless themes through the lens of artistic expression.
To enhance the experience, the production features a special stage layout paired with a convenient viewing camera HUD, ensuring every guest has the best possible vantage point to enjoy the performance. The result is a visually dynamic show designed to deliver powerful moments, stunning visuals, and unforgettable dance.
